Turn spelling practice into an exciting adventure with this interactive Memory Game! Designed to reinforce HMH Spelling Words, this set includes 36 unique decks—one for each week. Students will practice 6 Decodable Words per week for the first 5 modules (15 weeks) and 10 words per week for the remaining 7 modules (21 weeks), covering a total of 285 words!

How to Play:

• Lay all cards face down.
• Players take turns flipping two cards. If they match, the player writes the word on their recording sheet and keeps the cards. If not, they flip them back over.
• The player with the most cards at the end wins!
• For extra support, students can play with cards face-up.

Fun Ways to Play:

• Play individually, in pairs, or in groups for collaborative learning.
• Combine words from different weeks within the same module to reinforce learning.
• Use the cards in a fast-paced word hunt—spread them face-up and have students race to find and record the announced word.
• Encourage writing skills by having students pick a card, write the word, and then select another.
• Challenge students by having one partner say the sounds while the other writes the word.

Printing Instructions:

1. Print the front of the cards first.
2. Reload sheets to print the back design.
3. Use thicker paper for durability and laminate for long-term use.
