Our “I Spy” game is just one part of a comprehensive toolkit that provides diverse and interactive methods for teaching and learning. During the four weeks of each module from 1 to 3, students will work on the words for the entire module (4 words in module 1, 12 in module 2, and 12 in module 3). From modules 4 to 9, students will encounter flashcards with the 4 words of that week and 4 more from the previous week as a review. There is a different set for each week so you can play a different game each week during the 36 weeks of the course.

Explore a Variety of Activities:

1. Classic “I Spy” Game: Hide the flashcards throughout the classroom for students to discover and write down on one of the two available worksheets*.

2. Dictation Challenge: Randomly dictate the words of the flashcards and have students write them on one of the two available worksheets*.

3. Literacy Center Fun: Laminate each flashcard and place them face up. Challenge your students to find specific words, whether from the current week, the entire module, or the entire year’s word collection.
